The team

As a member of the Operation, Industry and domain solutions team you will embark on an exciting and fulfilling journey with a group of intelligent and innovative globally aware individuals.

We work in conjuncture with various institutions solving key business problems across a broad-spectrum roles and functions, all set against the backdrop of constant industry change.

Your work profile

·      Define and implement technology frameworks for sports performance analytics, IoT-enabled infrastructure, and digital athlete lifecycle management

·      Lead integration of IoT sensors, wearable data, and real-time telemetry into federated registries and analytics dashboards

·      Collaborate with system architects to design microservices for real-time scoring, fitness monitoring, and AI-driven recommendations

·      Support the deployment of AI-based talent identification, injury prediction, and performance optimization models using frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch

·      Work with federations and SAI units to establish data collection standards for training, health, and facility usage

·      Oversee implementation of geo-tagging, facility booking, and usage analytics through BharatMaps/Mapbox and PostGIS integration

·      Coordinate integration with external systems (ABHA, NABL, DigiLocker) for automated medical, testing, and eligibility verification

·      Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and interoperability frameworks such as GIGW, CERT-In, and Digital India standards

·      Conduct benchmarking studies on emerging sports technology ecosystems, recommending scalable, future-ready solutions

·      Leverage AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) for report generation, diagnostics summaries, and performance reviews.

·      Engage with academic and industry bodies to align platform innovation with SportsTech global trends

Essential Skills:

·      Expertise in IoT platforms, sensor integration, and edge computing architectures

·      Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau)

·      Strong understanding of sports data models, wearable telemetry, and biofeedback systems

·      Knowledge of sports governance workflows and national/international compliance standards

·      Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills

·      Domain Preference: Candidates with prior experience in sports analytics platforms, IoT-driven infrastructure monitoring, athlete tracking systems, or performance optimization solutions will be preferred.

Desirable Skills:

·      Familiarity with cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, or NIC Cloud) and microservices frameworks (Spring Boot, Node.js, Kafka)

·      Experience with PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, and ElasticSearch for sports data handling

Education Details

·      Bachelor’s or Master’s Sports Science, Sports Management, Computer Science, Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field

·      7–10 years of experience in sports analytics, IoT systems, AI-driven performance tracking, or digital transformation in sports

·      Prior experience in the IT domain within the sports sector, either in a government or corporate environment, is desired. 

·      Good to Have Certification: Certified Sports Technologist (CST) – SportsTech Research Network or equivalent, IoT Practitioner Certification (AWS / Microsoft), AI & Data Analytics Certification (e.g., Google Professional ML Engineer, MIT Sports Analytics Certificate), Sports Management Diploma from NSNIS, Sports Authority of India, or equivalent body
