Your work profile

 

·      Leads the end-to-end Program lifecycle for high-impact, large-scale digital platforms, ensuring successful transition from strategic initiation through sustained operations and maintenance.

·      Provides technical governance and architectural oversight on the implementation of microservices-based architecture, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure integration via API Gateways and message brokers (Kafka/RabbitMQ).

·      Manages program scope, timelines, budgets, and quality, leveraging deep technical understanding to proactively manage and mitigate risks in alignment with agreed governance frameworks.

·      Oversees and guides complex cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, Designers, Developers, QA, DevOps, and Data Specialists, fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.

·      Drives and customizes Agile/Hybrid delivery methodologies to optimize the technical value stream, focusing on predictability, accelerated time-to-market, and transparent backlog management.

·      Mandates and enforces adherence to critical regulatory and security frameworks, including GIGW, WCAG, and CERT-In security requirements, driving the integration of DevSecOps practices within the CI/CD pipeline.

·      Defines and oversees the deployment strategy for highly available, cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/Azure/NIC Cloud), leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and automated CI/CD pipelines for efficient and scalable releases.

·      Strategically coordinates the development and integration of core technical components such as Spring Boot, Node.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch, and manages complex interoperability requirements with external platforms (DigiLocker, PFMS, API Setu, UMANG).

·      Leverages AI/Generative tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to enhance productivity in technical documentation, predictive risk modeling, and advanced program reporting.

·      Prepares and presents concise program progress reports, technical strategy updates, and governance reviews to executive and technical stakeholders, translating complex technical risks into clear business impacts.

 

 

 

 

 

Essential Skills:

 

·      Demonstrates a deep understanding and practical application of Microservices, API-driven development, and event-based architectures.

·      Has mandatory hands-on experience managing deployments on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or NIC Cloud) with an expert-level working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

·      Applies a strong understanding of DevSecOps practices, CI/CD toolchains, and infrastructure automation to ensure rapid, secure, and high-quality deployments.

·      Maintains practical familiarity with core technology stacks, including Spring Boot, Node.js, and data handling solutions like PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and ElasticSearch.

·      Exhibits strong, applied knowledge of government compliance and security standards (CERT-In, GIGW, WCAG) and experience driving their technical implementation.

·      Offers proven ability to lead and align diverse, technical cross-functional teams towards a unified program vision.

·      Possesses excellent communication, technical documentation, and executive stakeholder management skills.

·      Background in DPI/e-governance platforms.

 

 

Desirable Skills:

·      Prior experience in the IT domain within the sports sector, either in a government or corporate environment.

 

 

 

Education Details

 

·      Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a closely related technical field.

·      Possesses 8–10+ years of progressive experience successfully managing and delivering large-scale IT, e-Governance, or mission-critical digital programs.

·      Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master Certification.

·      Cloud Certification: (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner/Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).
