Seeking an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in Automation to lead automation strategy, manage QA teams, and drive automation adoption across projects. The role involves overseeing test automation frameworks, ensuring high test coverage, and aligning QA processes with business and delivery goals.

As a Consultant/ Senior Consultant in our Consulting team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations. You’ll:

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance automation frameworks using Java
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for UI and API testing
• Perform API automation testing using tools/frameworks such as Rest Assured
• Ensure proper version control and code management using Git
• Review automation code and enforce best practices and coding standards
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to understand requirements and resolve issues
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines
• Analyze test execution results and provide quality metrics and reports
• Participate in test planning, estimations, and test strategy discussions
• Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance

Key skills required: 

• 6–10 years of experience in Software Testing with strong focus on Automation
• Hands-on experience with Java-based automation frameworks
• Strong experience in API testing and automation (Rest Assured / Postman)
• Proficiency in Git version control (branching, merging, pull requests)
• Experience with TestNG / JUnit / Cucumber (BDD)
• Good understanding of Automation Framework Design (Hybrid, Data-Driven, POM)
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field
