Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Application Tech Support Engineer who combines strong production support expertise with in-depth knowledge of containerized and microservices-based environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Kubernetes, cloud platforms, and application monitoring tools, along with excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills to ensure seamless application availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide end-to-end support for microservices-based applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor and maintain applications running in Docker, Kubernetes, and service mesh environments (e.g., Istio).
• Troubleshoot incidents by analyzing logs, performance metrics, and application behavior.
• Applications for which this support is needed are primarily built on Flutter and Java, so knowledge of these technologies will be preferred.
• AWS is our preferred cloud platform.
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics) for applications and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Work closely with cloud platforms for deployment and support activities.
• Support production environments, manage deployments, and handle release cycles with minimal downtime.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in application or production support engineering.
• Strong understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and service mesh tools like Istio.
• Hands-on experience supporting microservices-based architectures.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace or AppDynamics.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
