Your work profile:

• We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Materials Management (MM) Senior Consultant with strong functional expertise in procurement, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• The candidate will be responsible for leading SAP MM workstreams, engaging with business stakeholders, delivering SAP solutions, and supporting implementation, rollout, and support projects for domestic clients.
• Lead requirement gathering workshops and business process discussions with client stakeholders.
• Configure and support SAP MM processes including:
• Procurement Cycle (P2P), Purchase Requisitions, Requests for Quotation (RFQ), Purchase Orders, Contracts and Scheduling Agreements, Goods Receipt (GR), Invoice Verification (IV), Inventory Management, Physical Inventory, Subcontracting, Consignment Procurement, Vendor Evaluation, Release Strategies and Workflow, Design and implement material master, vendor master, purchasing, and inventory management processes.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP teams for developments and enhancements.
• Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, and defect resolution.
• Conduct end-user training and prepare business process documentation.

Integration Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support integration between:
• SAP MM and SD, SAP MM and PP, SAP MM and QM, SAP MM and WM/EWM, SAP MM and FICO, SAP MM and PM
• Ensure seamless end-to-end business process execution across modules.

Project Responsibilities

• Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and AMS engagements.
• Analyze business requirements and recommend SAP best practices.
• Support data migration activities related to material, vendor, and purchasing data.
• Track deliverables and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Manage issue resolution and provide status updates to project leadership.

 Key skills required:

• 5-12 years of exp in SAP MM.
• Strong expertise in procurement and inventory management processes.
• Experience in at least 2-3 end-to-end SAP implementations.
• Hands-on configuration experience across core MM processes.
• Strong understanding of master data management.
• Experience in vendor lifecycle and purchasing operations.
• Knowledge of Indian business and taxation processes impacting procurement.
• Excellent client handling and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA MM implementations and support projects.
• Understanding of: Business Partner Concept, Fiori Applications, Embedded Analytics, Procurement Analytics, Material Ledger, Exposure to SAP Ariba integration would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of IDOCs, interfaces, and workflow concepts.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech, MBA, B.Com, M.Com, or equivalent qualification.
