SAP BPC roles Job description 

Knowledge of S/4HANA Group Reporting / BPC capabilities.

Experience and knowledge on consolidation life cycle set up in SAP GR / BPC like masted data set up, data load from Source system to GR / BPC, Reclassifications, Currency Conversion, Inter-company eliminations, Data validations, Consolidation of Investment activities.

 

•            Understanding of SAP ICMR, GRDC and DM modules will be good add on.

 

•            Understanding of SAP finance data sets and how it is stored in SAP ECC, S/4HANA, S/4 Central Finance.

•            Extensive experience and knowledge of external reporting requirements, downstream reporting and analytics areas using SAP Bex Queries,Analysis for Office, CDS views, BW Modelling tool etc.

•            Experience and knowledge in Financial Reporting.

•            Experience promoting changes to Production and associated methodology, including writing, and executing test plans.

Soft Skills:

•            Good Analytical skills and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Should be having enthusiasm and energy.

•            Very good awareness of entire software development life cycle processes and should also be good in visualizing and formulating process flow diagrams.

•            Strong English verbal and written skills

•            Strong organizational skills and eagerness to drive deliverable to closure

•            Self-starter and proactive, including managing deliverable, able to work independently, understanding timelines and deadlines with minimal guidance

•            Good finance functional skills are important:

o            Understanding of role of Management and Statutory Accounting

o            INDAS, USGAAP and IFRS Reporting Standards

o            Accounting and consolidation principles

Key Responsibilities

•            Requirements gathering and documentation in structured manner to drive Requirements Traceability Matrix.

•            Solution design for Consolidation and Finance Closing processes in S/4 Group Reporting / BPC based on requirements.

•            Support Project Management to develop and then deliver achievable Project Plan.

•            Deliver and manage delivery of technical solution to design.

•            Manage business and technology stakeholders.

 

Good to Have

•            Experience with S/4 HANA and associated data structures.

•            Experience with downstream reporting applications: Disclosure Management, BW data extraction and modeling in BW7.5 or BW/4HANA environments.

•            Experience with SAP Security functions.

•            Experience with full lifecycle implementations.

•            Experience with working on/developing custom Interfaces or enhancements.

•            Experience supporting SAP technical upgrades.

•            SAP certification.
