Job Title:  T&T - OIDS - Senior Consultant - Database Expert - Delhi

Your work profile

• We are looking for a skilled Data/Database Expert with 8+ years of experience in database administration, data management, and database optimization to design, implement, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing database environments.
• The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database technologies, performance tuning, backup & recovery, ETL processes, and database architecture, with the ability to support enterprise-grade applications and data platforms.

Key skills required:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in Database Administration and Data Management.
• Graduate in B.E./B.Tech/MCA.
• Preferably certified in Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or any other equivalent database technology.
• Strong expertise in database administration, installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Hands-on experience in database design, data modeling, and schema optimization.
• Proven experience in database performance tuning, query optimization, and capacity planning.
• Experience in backup, recovery, disaster recovery planning, and high availability solutions.
• Hands-on experience in ETL processes, data migration, and data integration.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and database security best practices.
• Experience in monitoring database health, troubleshooting performance issues, and ensuring data integrity.
• Familiarity with enterprise database environments and cloud-based database platforms is desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
• Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or equivalent database certification is preferred.
