Your work profile
Role Overview:
The consultant will serve as a techno-functional expert for government digital transformation initiatives, bridging business requirements and technical implementation. The role spans requirement analysis, RFP preparation, bid management, and project monitoring
Location: Delhi NCR
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct business process analysis, gap assessment, and prepare scoping reports for IT systems.
• Define functional requirements, workflows, and integration points with external stakeholders
• Collaborate with technical teams to design solution architecture, data migration strategy, and API integration plans.
• Support RFP drafting, including functional scope, evaluation criteria, and SLA frameworks.
• Assist in bid evaluation, technical presentations, and vendor onboarding.
• Monitor project implementation, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and e-Governance standards.
• Validate BRD, FRS, SRS, and participate in UAT and system rollout.
• Provide Support on government schemes’ implementation, technology inductions, Governing laws,.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Education: B.Tech/B.E./MCA with MBA or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years in techno-functional roles for large IT/e-Governance projects.
• Good knowledge of IT architecture, data migration, and emerging technologies (AI/ML, RPA).
•Familiarity with Social welfare, labor domain processes, employment portals, and compliance systems preferred.
• Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, and presentation skills.
• Experience of working on any analytical tool is preferred.
• Experience of working with senior government officials is preferred.
• Candidate would be engaged in Government Consulting
• On-site client presence would be mandatory, i.e. daily travel to central Delhi would be required, and expectations, if any, regarding WFH.
• The candidate should have an understanding of the Labour and Employment ecosystem of the country, including the main digital systems, policies, main databases, current trends and recent reforms;
• Experience of working in projects related to employment /social security/welfare is preferred.
• Experience in handling large scale IT/ ITeS projects, e-governance projects, consulting / hands-on experience in IT roles, etc. is desirable;
• Good research capabilities to derive insights from government policies/ guidelines etc., and ability to handle large-scale data collection, and analysis, would be a requirement.
• Experience of designing/ implementing data driven dashboard, KPIs, decision support systems etc., would be an added advantage.
