The team
The team serves as a central pillar driving growth and transformation within Deloitte, spanning several business lines and various technology functions. We are established as a centralized team collaborating across consulting, implementation, and operation to maintain and enhance client value offerings and services. We innovate conventional approaches, leveraging Deloitte technology, differentiated domain expertise, intellectual property, talent, and capacity to embed continuous advantage and deliver enhanced business value.
In this team, our focus is on catering to the unique needs and preferences of clients in the South Asia region. Your role within this dynamic team is essential for establishing networks and relationships across the client stakeholder ecosystem and ensuring service fulfillment. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with other Deloitte leadership and stakeholders dedicated to the client. Your contributions will involve nurturing new and existing relationships, supporting presales life cycles, and playing a pivotal role in driving the success of Deloitte business growth for the specific client.
Job Overview
The primary role of a Director will be to shape and deliver high-impact treasury transformation programs, oversee complex global TMS and BAU operations, and provide strategic advisory that enhances clients’ liquidity performance, treasury governance, and financial resilience. You will lead multi-country, cross-functional engagements, strengthen enterprise-wide decision support for CFOs and Treasurers, and drive operational excellence across both transformation and operate portfolios.
To achieve this, you will be expected to perform the following activities:

Lead Project Delivery –
o
Oversee global treasury operations including cash management, forecasting, banking, payments, and reconciliations, ensuring service excellence and adherence to SLAs.
o
Drive end-to-end treasury transformation programs covering operating model redesign, process optimization, and technology enablement (TMS/ERP/banking connectivity).
o
Lead high-complexity solution design and implementation, ensuring quality, stability, and scalability of TMS platforms.
o
Steer multi-geography, multi-team delivery environments and ensure alignment with client objectives, timelines, and budget parameters.

Engage in Executive-Level Interactions –
o
Engage directly with CFOs, Treasurers, CIOs, and senior leadership to understand strategic priorities, treasury risks, and enterprise challenges.
o
Present diagnostic insights, transformation roadmaps, and operating model recommendations at steering committees, governance forums, and executive workshops.
o
Translate complex treasury, technology, and risk concepts into clear, actionable strategies for leadership teams.

Drive Business Development –
o
Lead RFPs, solutioning, and proposal development by coordinating across service lines, alliances, and capability teams.
o
Build and deepen senior client relationships, proactively identifying opportunities for transformation, managed services, and TMS expansion.
o
Drive practice growth through thought leadership, asset development, market insights, and capability-building initiatives.

Stakeholder Management –
o
Build, manage, and influence relationships with CXOs, business heads, banks, fintech partners, system integrators, and technology vendors.
o
Facilitate governance structures across transformation and operate engagements, ensuring seamless collaboration across Finance, IT, Risk, and Controllership.

Manage Engagement & Practice Financials –
Technology & Transformation

o
Own engagement-level financial performance including revenue management, WIP, billing, profitability, and risk controls.
o
Ensure strong commercial governance across multi-year managed services and transformation programs.

People Leadership, Mentorship & Culture –
o
Lead and mentor large cross-functional teams across transformation and operate delivery, providing direction, coaching, and technical guidance.
o
Develop leadership capability within the team through structured learning, career development, and succession planning.
o
Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture that encourages innovation, knowledge sharing, and consistent delivery excellence.
Skills Required
•
Qualifications:
o
CA or MBA (Finance) from a premier or reputed institute.
o
Additional treasury certifications (ACT, CTP, etc.) preferred.
o
Strong academic credentials across undergraduate and postgraduate studies.
•
Experience
o
15-20 years of progressive experience in Treasury across consulting and/or industry roles.
o
Relevant work experience in treasury function under management consulting (big 4 or comparable) is appreciated
o
Significant experience leading large-scale treasury transformation programs covering process redesign, operating model changes, and TMS implementations.
o
Demonstrated leadership in managing global treasury operations including cash management, payments, forecasting, bank account management, reconciliations, and intercompany funding.
o
Strong exposure to major TMS platforms (Kyriba, FIS, SAP TRM, Reval, Integrity) including module implementation, governance, and integration with ERP/bank channels.
o
Proven track record in managing senior client stakeholders (CFOs, Treasurers, CXOs) and delivering executive-level advisory.
o
Experience in business development, proposal leadership, account growth, and solutioning for treasury transformation/operate mandates.
o
Prior management of large teams across geographies and diverse workstreams within treasury, finance, or technology functions.
o
Exposure to consulting assets, methodologies, accelerators, and thought leadership development.
