The Team 

Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.
We are seeking highly skilled Databricks Data Engineers to join our data modernization team. You will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust data solutions on the Databricks platform. Your experience in data engineering, along with a deep understanding of Databricks, will be instrumental in building solutions to drive data-driven decision-making across a variety of customers.


Key Responsibilities

•  Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned financial services clients in the GCC region. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives, to understand their business challenges, needs, and strategic objectives.

•  Sales and Business Development: Drive revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities. Develop and execute account strategies to expand the firm’s share of wallet, including cross-selling services such as advisory, assurance, tax, and consulting.

•  Opportunity Identification and Pursuit: Proactively scan for emerging client needs in areas like regulatory compliance, risk management, digital transformation, and sustainability within financial services. Lead pursuit teams in proposal development, negotiations, and deal closure to meet or exceed sales, pipeline, and margin targets.

•  Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with service line leaders, industry experts, and business development teams to align firm capabilities with client goals. Foster internal cooperation to ensure seamless delivery of integrated solutions.

•  Account Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive account plans, including market analysis, competitive positioning, and growth forecasts. Monitor account performance, resolve issues, and escalate as needed to maintain high levels of client satisfaction.

•  Stakeholder Management: Manage internal and external stakeholders, including coordinating with global teams to leverage firm-wide resources. Inspire and coach junior team members on client service excellence and sales best practices.

•  Market Insights: Stay abreast of industry trends in the GCC financial services sector, including banking, insurance, and capital markets, to position the firm as a thought leader.

Qualifications and Experience

•  6-10 years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, with at least 5 years in the financial services industry.

•  Proven experience in a professional services environment, ideally within a Big 4 firm or tech firm

•  Demonstrated success in managing large, complex client accounts and achieving sales targets in the GCC region.
