As a Senior Consultant in our M&C Team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

      Key Responsibilities:

• Pipeline Migration: Lead the complex technical execution of migrating scientific laboratory instruments from the legacy Thalamus framework over to the new Jarvis data pipeline architecture.
• AI Feature Engineering: Discover, prototype, and build production-ready AI capabilities into the Jarvis platform. This includes designing solutions for automatic metadata extraction and contextual data enrichment from diverse instrument outputs.
• Hands-on Development: Write robust, highly performant, and maintainable backend code leveraging Java and Kotlin within a cloud-native distributed architecture.
• Technical Collaboration: Partner closely with the Jarvis Technical Lead, data engineers, and lab scientists to ensure instrument data ingestion pipelines are seamless, scalable, and resilient.
• Data Harmonization: Develop a nuanced understanding of scientific data types originating from different Research domains (chemistry and biology) to build smarter schemas and smarter processing systems.
• Quality & Standards: Ensure all newly integrated instruments and AI pipelines comply with Lilly's strict global info-security, architecture, and data integrity standards.

              Technical Expertise:

• Advanced backend development skills in Java and Kotlin.
• Proven experience building or migrating complex data ingestion pipelines (handling structured/unstructured file processing).
• Strong background working with relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or NoSQL solutions).
• Expertise in building scalable RESTful APIs and orchestrating distributed data flows.

              Cloud, AI, & DevOps:

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub, Jenkins/Actions for CI/CD).

              Preferred Qualifications:

• Domain Context: Prior experience integrating laboratory software, instruments, or IoT devices (such as chromatography, mass spectrometry, or imaging systems) into enterprise pipelines.
• Industry Experience: Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare IT environment, specifically working within high-quality or regulated frameworks (GxP).
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional ability to map ambiguous scientific data challenges to concrete AI use-cases.
• Agile Collaboration: Thrives in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, Agile team environment working hand-in-hand with engineering leads and product owners.

              Location and way of working:

• Base location: Delhi
• Education: Professional Qualification - B.E./B.Tech/MCA/MBA/MS
• This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations.
