Work Profile

 

Project Planning & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end execution of large infrastructure projects across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, utilities, transportation, industrial, power, water, or urban infrastructure sectors.
  • Develop comprehensive project execution strategies, construction methodologies, resource plans, and implementation schedules.
  • Drive project delivery in line with defined scope, budget, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Establish project governance, reporting mechanisms, and performance monitoring frameworks.

Schedule & Cost Management

  • Develop and monitor integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
  • Track project progress, identify schedule slippages, and implement recovery plans.
  • Monitor project budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and cost controls throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review contractor progress, payment certifications, change orders, and commercial impacts.

Contract & Construction Management

  • Manage EPC, EPCM, Design-Build, PMC, and construction contracts.
  • Coordinate with contractors, consultants, engineering teams, and procurement functions to ensure timely execution.
  • Monitor contractor performance and ensure contractual compliance.
  • Support tendering activities, bid evaluation, project estimation, and contract administration.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the primary interface between clients, consultants, contractors, regulatory authorities, and internal leadership.
  • Conduct project review meetings and provide regular progress updates to senior management.
  • Resolve project issues proactively while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Risk, Quality & HSE Management

  • Identify and mitigate project risks related to schedule, cost, construction, procurement, safety, and regulatory approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, engineering specifications, and statutory requirements.
  • Promote a strong Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) culture across project sites.
  • Oversee commissioning, project handover, and operational readiness activities.

Leadership

  • Lead multidisciplinary teams comprising engineering, construction, planning, procurement, commercial, and HSE professionals.
  • Drive collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across project teams.
  • Mentor team members and support capability development.

 

Skills 

  • 15+ years of experience managing construction and delivery of large infrastructure or capital projects.
  • Proven experience in project planning, execution, design coordination, tendering, estimation, and construction management.
  • Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent understanding of EPC/EPCM project delivery models and construction contracts.
  • Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Infrastructure Management, or a related discipline.
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or MBA will be an added advantage.
