Your work profile 

Position: Financial Consultant

Educational Qualifications: MBA in Finance/CA/CFA/CS/ICWA

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in finance, taxation, financial planning, budgeting, financial analysis, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience in interpretation and application of financial and tax regulations and supporting financial planning and decision-making.
• Prior experience of working on IT systems, digital platforms, ERP systems, financial technology solutions, or technology-enabled finance transformation projects would be preferred.

Key Roles and Responsibilites:

The Financial Consultant will be responsible for providing financial, taxation, and regulatory advisory support for the project, including:

• analyzing financial data and preparing financial assessments, projections, and forecasts
• supporting financial planning, budgeting, and resource allocation exercises
• reviewing applicable financial, taxation, and regulatory provisions relevant to the project
• assessing the financial and tax implications of proposed strategies, transactions, and interventions
• supporting preparation of financial models, business cases, and cost-benefit analyses
• undertaking financial due diligence and analysis, where required
• supporting development of financial frameworks, policies, processes, and monitoring mechanisms
• analyzing financial performance and identifying key trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
• assisting in tax planning and ensuring alignment with applicable tax and financial regulations
• supporting preparation and review of financial reports, MIS, dashboards, and decision-support materials
• coordinating with relevant stakeholders, including finance teams, tax experts, auditors, and regulatory authorities, as required
• supporting the identification of opportunities for process improvement, automation, and technology-enabled financial management
• providing financial inputs for strategic recommendations, presentations, and project reports

Desired technical Skills:

• strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and financial analysis
• working knowledge of direct and indirect taxation and relevant financial regulations
• proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting
• ability to analyze complex financial data and derive actionable insights
• understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and financial controls
• familiarity with ERP systems, financial management systems, or other technology-enabled finance platforms would be preferred
• proficiency in MS Excel and other financial analysis tools
• strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills
• ability to translate financial analysis into practical strategic recommendations
• strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs within defined timelines
