Job Title: Technology & Transformation - OIDS - Consultant - Public Finance - Delhi
The Team
Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice works on assignments related to international trade engagements for government clients specializing in trade policy, economic development and global market access initiatives among others
Your work profile
The position will support research, data analysis, benchmarking and advisory activities for a Government assignment focused on excise-sector reforms and revenue augmentation. The role will involve assessment of market, operational, supply-chain, infrastructure and technology requirements, along with preparation of analytical outputs and client deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Support assessment of wholesale and retail liquor markets, including licensing, sales, revenue and market trends.
- Undertake analysis of revenue, pricing, margins, sales/offtake, licence fees and other excise-sector data.
- Support assessment of procurement, warehousing, logistics, distribution, inventory management and supply-chain arrangements.
- Benchmark excise policies, institutional models, licensing frameworks and revenue practices across States/UTs.
- Support identification of compliance, monitoring, digital and revenue-leakage reduction measures.
- Undertake policy research and prepare analytical notes, presentations, reports and implementation plans.
- Support stakeholder consultations and documentation of findings and recommendations.
- Coordinate with Government stakeholders and internal teams for timely collection and analysis of data.
Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Management, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
Experience
- 3–6 years of relevant professional experience.
- Experience in research, data analysis, operations, supply chain, infrastructure, digital transformation or Government consulting.
- Experience in Government/PSU assignments preferred.
- Prior consulting or professional-services experience would be advantageous.
- Prior exposure to assignments in Tamil Nadu and/or Puducherry, or familiarity with the regional administrative and market environment, would be preferred.
