Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation practice works on assignments related to international trade engagements for government clients specializing in trade policy, economic development and global market access initiatives among others 

Your work profile 

Position: Information Technology Consultant

Experience:

• Minimum 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in information technology, data analytics, artificial intelligence, business intelligence, dashboard development, or related areas.
• Experience in consulting, government transformation projects, digital transformation, or large-scale technology implementation projects would be preferred.

Key Roles and Responsibilites:

The Information Technology Consultant will be responsible for providing technology and analytical support for the project, including:

• analyzing business and functional requirements and translating them into technology-enabled solutions
• designing and developing dashboards, MIS reports, and data visualization solutions for effective monitoring and decision-making
• collecting, processing, validating, and analyzing data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights
• supporting the development and deployment of data analytics and AI/ML-based solutions, where relevant
• developing analytical models, automation tools, and data-driven frameworks to improve operational efficiency
• supporting the design and implementation of digital platforms, applications, and technology solutions
• working with structured and unstructured datasets and ensuring data quality, consistency, and integrity
• coordinating with business stakeholders, domain experts, and technical teams to define data and technology requirements
• preparing technical documentation, solution architectures, process workflows, and user requirements
• supporting integration of multiple data sources and systems, including APIs and databases, where required
• identifying opportunities for adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and automation
• providing analytical and technology inputs for presentations, reports, and decision-support materials
• supporting testing, deployment, user acceptance, and continuous improvement of technology solutions

Desired technical Skills:

The candidate should possess working knowledge of some or more of the following:

• data analytics and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
• programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or equivalent
• database management and data querying
• artificial intelligence, machine learning, and emerging generative AI applications
• dashboard and MIS development
• data processing, data modelling, and statistical analysis
• automation and workflow digitization
• APIs, system integration, and digital platforms
• cloud-based data and analytics solutions
• advanced MS Excel and presentation tools

Educational Qualifications: 

Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science Certification in Data Science(AI/ML)/BTech-MBA /MCA
