Your work profile

We are seeking a dynamic and execution-focused AI Program Manager to lead and manage large-scale, multi-stakeholder AI initiatives, including ecosystem-driven programs involving language technologies, open networks, and AI platforms.

This role goes beyond traditional program management and requires strong vendor governance, ecosystem orchestration, and AI program delivery capabilities. The individual will work closely with clients, research institutions (e.g., IIIT-B), technology partners, LLM providers, and global stakeholders to ensure structured execution, accountability, and measurable outcomes.

The candidate will be responsible for driving program governance, enabling coordination across a growing partner ecosystem, and ensuring delivery discipline across vendors and AI initiatives of Clients.

Depending on experience and capability, the individual will independently manage workstreams, support program governance, lead stakeholder engagements, and contribute to the development of frameworks, operating models, and implementation strategies.

Key Responsibilities

AI Program Management & Execution

• Drive end-to-end planning, execution, and monitoring of large-scale programs and projects for AI.
• Translate strategic AI vision into execution roadmaps, milestones, and structured workstreams.
• Manage program timelines, deliverables, budgets, risks, and KPIs with a strong focus on outcomes.
• Ensure alignment across AI model development, platform integration, and ecosystem rollout.
• Coordinate across strategy, technology, operations, implementation, and field teams.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and bottlenecks and support timely resolution.
• Ensure adherence to project scope, quality standards, governance frameworks, and reporting requirements.

AI Program Strategy & Solutioning

• Support development of AI program strategies, operating models, and ecosystem frameworks.
• Contribute to design and evaluation of AI solutions, LLM integrations, and language technology platforms.
• Translate business and policy requirements into actionable AI program components.

Vendor Governance & Ecosystem Management

• Establish and operationalize strong vendor governance frameworks to ensure delivery accountability.
• Manage onboarding, coordination, and performance tracking of AI vendors, LLM providers, and technology partners.
• Define SLAs, KPIs, and review mechanisms to monitor vendor performance.
• Act as the central coordination point across ecosystem stakeholders including Client Team, AI vendor teams, and other AI partners.

Stakeholder Coordination & Engagement

• Lead coordination across diverse stakeholders including:
• Government and public sector bodies
• AI/LLM technology providers
• Ecosystem partners and implementation agencies
• Facilitate structured engagement through workshops, working groups, and review forums.
• Build alignment across stakeholders to drive program outcomes and ecosystem growth.

Research, Insights & Thought Leadership

• Track emerging trends in AI, LLMs, Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI).
• Develop insights, reports, and strategic recommendations for AI ecosystem development.
• Contribute to knowledge assets, whitepapers, and best practices.

Business Analysis & Solution Development

• Conduct business process assessments, requirement gathering, and stakeholder consultations.
• Develop and maintain: Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS); Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Process Flows and Operating Models
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional and operational recommendations.
• Support design and evaluation of technology-enabled solutions and digital platforms.

Governance, Monitoring & Reporting

• Maintain project plans, dashboards, risk registers, issue logs, and dependency trackers.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and executive-level progress reports.
• Monitor program KPIs, outcomes, and implementation effectiveness.
• Support steering committee reviews and governance mechanisms.
• Track decisions, action items, and escalations to ensure timely closure.

Documentation, Quality Assurance & Knowledge Management

• Develop, review, and maintain high-quality project documentation and knowledge repositories.
• Ensure consistency, completeness, and quality of project deliverables.
• Capture lessons learned, best practices, and implementation insights.
• Support preparation of training materials, user manuals, and operational documentation.
• Promote continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.E./B.Tech), Information Systems, Computer Science, BBA, Management, or any other equivalent degree.
• MBA or any other equivalent degree.

Experience:

Senior Consultant

• 5-8 years of relevant experience in:
• Program Management
• Business Analysis
• PMO Leadership
• Digital Transformation
• Government, Public Sector, or DPI Programs

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Technical projects related to Development, implementation and maintenance.
• Experience working with Government, Public Sector, Development Sector, or Multilateral Programs.
• Experience in Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), e-Governance, Technology Consulting, or Digital Transformation Programs.
• Familiarity with policy implementation, ecosystem development, and change management initiatives.
• Experience supporting technology implementation and platform-based programs.
