Deloitte's Infrastructure and Urban Advisory practice supports governments in developing resilient, investment-ready cities through spatial planning, infrastructure-gap assessment, project development and integrated urban growth strategies.

Your work profile

Urban Planning and Spatial Development Expert

We are looking for an Urban Planning and Spatial Development Expert to support city and regional planning, spatial screening, infrastructure planning and preparation of investment-ready urban project pipelines for Uttarakhand.

Key skills required:

• Minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience in infrastructure planning, master plans, city-development plans, feasibility studies, Detailed Project Reports, redevelopment plans or growth-hub strategies.
• Experience in GIS-based planning, land-use assessment, infrastructure-gap assessment and preparation of spatially informed project concepts.
• Ability to support UCF project identification and prioritisation, City Investment Plans and planning inputs for digital-twin and growth-simulation use cases.
• Experience with Government missions and coordination with ULB, State/UT and Central Government authorities is desirable.
• Strong analytical, report-writing, mapping, presentation and stakeholder-consultation skills.

Qualifications

Graduate degree in Planning, Architecture or Civil Engineering, preferably with a postgraduate degree in Regional, Town or Infrastructure Planning.

Location and Way of Working:

•  Base location: Delhi,
Client Location: Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

•  Full-time deployment at the Urban Development Directorate office, with travel across Uttarakhand as required.
