Position: Business Analyst (Operations Analyst)


Role Summary

The Business Analyst (Operations Analyst) acts as a bridge between business and ERP/Application teams, driving process improvements, documenting requirements, supporting finance applications, managing compliance and access reviews, and ensuring successful testing and implementation of business and technology changes.

Work Location & Shift Requirements


  • Work From Office (WFO) is mandatory for a minimum of 3 days per week.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts supporting EMEA, APAC, and US business hours is required based on business needs.


Key Skills Required

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including conference calls and stakeholder interactions.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Good understanding of OTC (Order to Cash), processes.
  • Proficiency in Power Automate, SharePoint, Visio, and related business/process design tools.
  • Experience gathering business requirements, identifying problems, and recommending solutions.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Critical thinking and analytical capabilities to review data, documentation, surveys, and workflows.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within team-oriented environments.

Core Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), outlining business problems and proposed solutions for SME review and sign-off.
  • Develop and maintain Process Flow documentation to support process understanding and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Support Finance IT tools and provide operational support during Month-End, Quarter-End, and Year-End close activities.
  • Participate in and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate business functionality.
  • Work closely with business teams to resolve issues and implement change requests through application support teams and Centers of Excellence.
  • Review and document user access requirements, including UMER (User Management Exception Request) requirements and location separation needs.
  • Create remediation requirements documentation where necessary.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Coordinate DRF committee reviews, submissions, and approvals.
  • Conduct ITAR/EAR compliance reviews where applicable.
  • Perform PII (Personally Identifiable Information) reviews as required.
  • Investigate and resolve UMER-related issues during projects.
  • Support legal reviews related to UMER guidelines.
  • Develop and execute QA test cases for remediation activities.
  • Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
