Position: Full Stack Developer

About the Programme:

The National Insight Center for Education (NICE), Ministry of Education initiative aims to build a centralized analytics and decision-support platform that consolidates data across national education programmes, giving senior government leadership real-time performance visibility and driving data-informed policy for 50L+ learners annually.

About the Role:

The role involves owning end-to-end frontend and mobile development, architecting Micro Frontend systems, driving performance optimisation and leading collaboration across design, backend and product teams to deliver high-impact consumer features.

Key Roles and Responsibility:

1.      Frontend Feature Development: Lead development of high-traffic consumer-facing features using React.js and Micro Frontend architecture, driving measurable business impact.

2.      Mobile Experience Engineering: Enhance and maintain mobile experiences through React Native, including WebView integrations for iOS and Android platforms.

3.      State Management and Application Architecture: Design and implement scalable state management solutions using Redux and Context API to handle complex asynchronous workflows.

4.      Performance and Quality Optimisation: Optimise application performance, accessibility and Core Web Vitals through systematic profiling, and drive unit test coverage using Jest and React Testing Library.

5.      AI-Enabled Product Development: Build and evolve AI-powered features, integrating tools such as Gemini AI into product experiences.

6.      Technical Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor engineers, review code for quality and performance standards and lead modernisation initiatives for legacy systems.

Qualifications:

·      Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

·      Preferred: Relevant experience in frontend or mobile engineering for consumer-scale digital products

Experience (Preferred):

1.      5+ years of experience in frontend or mobile engineering

2.      Strong experience in React.js, React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript

3.      Experience with Micro Frontend architectures, Redux and REST/GraphQL API integration

4.      Proficiency in performance optimisation, testing (Jest, RTL) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)

5.      Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), security practices (XSS, CSRF, CSP) and monitoring tools (Kibana, Sentry, Dynatrace)
