Consultant – Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials

About the Role
We are looking for a Consultant – Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials to join our Oracle practice. The individual will work on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementation, transformation and support engagements and will be responsible for functional configuration, testing, documentation and client support activities.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Fusion Financials
- Work on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials implementation and support projects.
- Support requirement gathering, process discussions and fit-gap analysis.
- Configure Oracle Fusion Financials based on approved business requirements.
- Work on one or more modules including GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Expenses and SLA.
- Develop a good understanding of R2R, P2P and O2C business processes.
- Support configuration of enterprise structures, Ledgers, Legal Entities, Business Units and accounting setups.
- Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents and test scripts.
- Work with technical teams on integrations, reports and data migration requirements.
Testing & Implementation
- Prepare and execute functional test scenarios.
- Support SIT, UAT, regression testing and defect resolution.
- Validate migrated data and support reconciliation activities.
- Support FBDI-based data migration activities.
- Assist with cutover, go-live and post-production support.
Client & Team Responsibilities
- Participate in client workshops and requirement discussions.
- Understand client requirements and translate them into Oracle Fusion solutions.
- Support functional demonstrations and solution walkthroughs.
- Work closely with Senior Consultants, Managers and technical teams.
- Proactively communicate issues, risks and dependencies.
- Support and guide junior team members where required.
Practice Contribution
- Contribute to Oracle Fusion Financials assets, accelerators and knowledge repositories.
- Support RFPs, proposals and solutioning activities as required.
- Keep up to date with Oracle Fusion quarterly releases and new Finance capabilities.
- Develop awareness of Oracle Redwood, AI-enabled Finance and automation.
Required Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of Oracle/ERP consulting experience, preferably with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree or related fields.
- Hands-on experience in one or more Oracle Financials modules.
- Good understanding of Finance processes and accounting concepts.
- Experience in requirements gathering, configuration and functional testing.
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion implementation or support projects.
- Understanding of FBDI and data migration.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage assigned deliverables independently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials certification.
- Experience in multiple Oracle Fusion Financials modules.
- Exposure to OTBI, BI Publisher, OIC and Oracle Fusion integrations.
- Experience working on global Oracle Cloud ERP programs.
- Exposure to Oracle Redwood and Oracle AI capabilities.
