Quality Engineer

 Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain UI automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.

Develop and maintain scalable automation frameworks using TestNG/JUnit and Page Object Model.

Perform API automation testing using tools/frameworks such as RestAssured and Postman.

Validate REST APIs, including request/response, status codes, headers, authentication, and JSON payloads.

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

Execute automated regression, smoke, functional, and integration test suites.

Identify, analyze, and report defects using tools such as Jira/Azure DevOps.

Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage.

Maintain test scripts and frameworks based on application enhancements and changes.

Participate in test planning, estimation, execution, defect triage, and reporting.

Contribute to improving automation coverage, framework scalability, and overall QA processes.

Mandatory Skills

Strong programming experience in Java.

Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

Experience in developing/maintaining automation frameworks.

Strong knowledge of TestNG/JUnit.

Hands-on experience in API Testing and API Automation.

Experience with RestAssured and/or Postman.

Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, authentication, and response validation.

Hands-on experience with Git.

Experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions.

Good understanding of SQL and database validation.

Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
