Job Title: Senior Consultant | FT: Strategy & Ops | Gurugram | Finance Transformation | Finance Strategy
Overview:
The Finance Transformation Business Analyst will support the delivery of the Finance Transformation Programme across multiple initiatives, with primary responsibility for Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Source to Pay (S2P), while also supporting Record to Report (R2R). The role will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, programme teams and technology vendors, ensuring business requirements are understood, documented, challenged and translated into effective solutions. The individual will play a key role across process design, requirements gathering, solution evaluation, implementation planning and business readiness activities. You will work closely with, Finance Leadership Group members, Global Process Owners, Finance Transformation workstream leads, programme managers, technology vendors, implementation partners and subject matter experts across the finance function.
§ Operational Responsibilities
o Lead requirements gathering and analysis activities across FP&A, S2P and R2R initiatives
o Support current state assessments and target operating model design activities-
o Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to define future processes, requirements and business outcomes
o Maintain traceability of requirements through design, build, testing and deployment phases- Support vendor engagement, solution evaluation and implementation activities
§ Strategic Responsibilities
o Identify opportunities to standardise, simplify and automate finance processes across the organisation
o Ensure programme objectives remain aligned with business priorities and transformation outcomes
o Support benefits realisation activities by linking requirements and process changes to measurable business benefits
o Contribute to the development of future-state finance capabilities and operating models
What you will do:
§ Facilitate workshops across Finance functions to understand business challenges, opportunities and requirements
§ Analyse existing processes and identify gaps against target state solutions and operating models
§ Produce high-quality requirements documentation, process maps, business cases and decision papers
§ Support the design and implementation of finance technology solutions across FP&A, S2P and R2R and other Finance Transformation initiatives
§ Work with vendors and implementation partners to validate proposed solutions against business requirements
§ Coordinate user acceptance testing activities and support defect resolution
§ Support change management, stakeholder engagement and business readiness activities
§ Assist in the identification, definition and tracking of programme benefits
Provide analytical support and recommendations to programme leadership and workstream leads
Career so far:
§ Significant experience working as a Business Analyst within large-scale Finance Transformation programmes
§ Strong experience and knowledge across Finance function and processes
§ Experience supporting finance technology implementations, including ERP, planning, reporting and automation solutions
§ Strong understanding of finance operating models, finance processes and controls
§ Demonstrable experience facilitating senior stakeholder workshops and challenging requirements constructively
§ Excellent analytical, problem-solving and process improvement skills
§ Experience working with implementation partners and third-party technology vendors
§ Strong documentation and communication skills, including requirements specifications, process flows and business cases
§ Ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders simultaneously in a complex programme environment
