Your work profile

Responsible for developing integrations between on premise SAP S/4 HANA and cloud applications (such as SFDC, SAP Fiori Cloud, etc.), other middleware applications (like: Informatica cloud, GXS Open text (MFT) tools) and on premise applications (like DB applications).

• Should understand the functional design, prepare technical design, develop interfaces & mapping in CPI, bug fixing, testing, documentation

• Should be familiar with cloud connector setup configurations for connecting CPI to on premise applications (like: S4 HANA, Mail server, DB, etc.)

• Should have worked as a hands-on CPI middleware consultant as an individual contributor on custom Integration flows (IFlows).

• Must have hands on exposure in BTP IS - Cloud Integration, API Management (API portal, Business Hub) and Open Connectors.

• Using API Portal to call exposed SAP S4 HANA API’s (via APIM)

• Expertise in handling integrations using various CPI adapters: ODATA, SFTP, FTP, IDOC, RFC/BAPI, SOAP, HTTP, Process Direct, REST, AMQP, JDBC, XI Proxy Adapters.

• Should have experience in handling different data conversion techniques (like json to xml, csv to xml etc.)

• Use API Portal to call exposed SAP S4 HANA standard/custom API’s (via APIM) and necessary configuration setup within S4 HANA for invoking (REST/SOAP/ODATA API’s)

  

 Key skills required: 

  • Education-Any Bachelors
  • • Well versed in creation of API application keys and its management.
  • • Should have experience in using various CPI pallet options (Integration patterns – Message transformations, Aggregator, Enricher, Splitter, etc.)
  • • Should have experience in other SAP integration technologies PI, CPI, EDI, ALE/ IDOC, RFC/BAPI and API based integrations.
  • • Must have expertise in writing Groovy & Java scripts.
  • • Well experienced in WSDL, JSON, XML, XSD and XSLT technologies.
  • • Must have expertise in Message Mapping techniques (including defining UDF’s) and XSLT mappings.
  • • Must Have knowledge in CPI exception handling, error notification techniques, data persistence and retry mechanisms.
  • • Should have knowledge in handling security artifacts, encryption, and decryption mechanisms
  • • Should have both CPI Development Experience and Operation Support experience.
  • • Able to transport CPI & APIM related Design Objects from non-production tenants to production tenants. (using any one of the methods: CTS+, TMS)
