Position Summary

Level: Manager

As a Manager at Deloitte Consulting, you will oversee the technical delivery of enterprise-scale software solutions, lead cross-functional and global teams and mentor junior members. You will collaborate to understand functional requirements, support sales and proposal efforts, and drive end-to-end project delivery, including estimation and planning, to ensure successful outcomes.

Work you’ll do:

Collaborate with the functional team and client to thoroughly understand business requirements. Oversee technical delivery by providing architectural and implementation recommendations. Lead documentation efforts, ensuring adherence to standards and best practices. Direct the design and development of solutions, ensuring timely delivery according to project plans. Work closely with project leadership to identify and escalate potential risks and prepare status reports. Mentor junior team members and facilitate communication between various teams within the engagement. Respond to proposals by providing accurate estimations and technical input, supporting the overall success and alignment of project objectives with client needs.

Qualifications

Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

·      8 - 14 years of hands-on experience in Guidewire Configuration / Integration

·      Experience on functional and technical systems analysis & design, system architectural design, presentation, process interfaces design, process flow design, and system impact analysis and design documentation and presentation.

·      Experience in developing applications using TDD (Test Driven Development) & Unit testing process.

·       Experience with SCRUM process of Agile (Iterative) development methodology.

·      Experience in development, testing, and maintenance of programming environments and architectural standards

·      Ability to perform estimation of work products

·      Proactive drive on improvement and innovation ideas

·      Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools

·      Experience working on agile development teams (ideally leveraging Scrum or Kanban)

·      Should have Platform Upgrade Experience

·      Hands-on experience with GOSU, Web Services and XML

·      Should be able to understand GW Integration / Configuration concepts

·      Should able to design and develop Guidewire Integration Components/ Configure PC or BC or CC

·      Should be able to write GOSU code

·      Certifications in Guidewire – ACE/ Cloud certifications.

·      Certification: – ACE/ Cloud certifications.

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

•       Experienced in CodeNarc or similar tools.

•       Experience with latest Guidewire cloud versions.

Education:

•       BE/B.Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university
