Job Summary

We are seeking a Mid–Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant with 7–10 years of experience specializing in SAP SD/OTC processes. The ideal candidate will ensure stable production operations, provide L2/L3 support, resolve incidents quickly with high quality, perform root cause analysis, manage change requests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless order-to-cash operations.

Your work profile:

Production Support (L2/L3)

• Handle incidents, change request tickets related to SAP SD and OTC flows.
• Analyze issues, identify gaps, and provide timely functional fixes or work with technical teams for solutions.
• Monitor daily/critical business processes: order creation, pricing, delivery, shipment, billing, and revenue postings.
• Ensure SLA compliance, quick resolution, and transparent communication with users and onsite lead.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Problem Management

• Perform RCA for recurring issues and apply permanent fixes to avoid repeated incidents.
• Identify and implement improvements in master data, configuration, or processes to enhance stability.

Change Request (CR) & Enhancements

• Gather business requirements for CRs or enhancements.
• Create functional specifications for configuration changes, enhancements, or RICEFW developments.
• Work with ABAP/technical teams to implement fixes and validate testing.
• Ensure proper change control processes and documentation adherence.

SAP SD Configuration & Troubleshooting

• Configure core SAP SD components:
• Sales Orders, Delivery, Billing, Pricing, Output determination, Credit management, Returns & refunds, Taxes.
• Troubleshoot issues across OTC flows including ATP, pricing inconsistency, billing errors, and integration failures.

Testing, Deployments & Documentation

• Support SIT/UAT cycles for production fixes or enhancements.
• Validate configuration changes in Dev/QA and support cutover activities.
• Maintain documentation: BRD, FSD, RCA reports, test cases, user guides.

User Support & Training

• Work with business users to resolve process-related queries.
• Conduct training/help sessions and provide quick reference guides.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end OTC activities.

Key skills required: 

Required Qualifications

• 7–10 years of SAP SD functional experience with strong OTC knowledge and SAP Certification is must.
• Proven experience in AMS/steady-state support, preferably for large enterprises.
• Strong understanding of SD business processes.
• Proven experience in SAP SD configuration and end-to-end implementation/support projects.
• Experience writing functional specifications and collaborating with technical teams.
• Experience analyzing logs, debugging functional errors, and working with ABAP teams.
• Understanding of cross-module impacts with FI/CO, MM, WM/EWM.
• Strong communication skills with ability to interact with business users and IT stakeholders.
• Ownership mindset—seeing issues through to closure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in S/4HANA support environments (Fiori, BP master data, Output Management BRF+).
• Exposure to ticketing tools: ServiceNow, Jira.
• Domain experience: Automotive, Manufacturing, High-Tech, or similar.
• Knowledge of GTS, Variant Configuration, Vehicle Management System (VMS), SFDC integrations.
