Product Owner

Role Summary

Looking for an experienced Product Owner to lead a multi-disciplinary product team delivering value to internal and external clients at Edward Jones. The candidate will own the product roadmap, align strategy to execution, and serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

•   Own and manage the product backlog — write, refine, and prioritize user stories aligned to business value

•   Define and maintain the product roadmap covering current, near-term, and future delivery

•   Collaborate with the Product Manager to translate strategy into actionable delivery plans

•   Manage system plans and supporting artefacts — resource needs, dependencies, timelines, milestones, and success criteria

•   Act as the voice of the customer within the delivery team and facilitate stakeholder review sessions

•   Lead the matrixed product team through influence, mentoring, and coaching

•   Align with adjacent product teams to ensure a consistent and cohesive product strategy

•   Identify and escalate risks, dependencies, and impediments proactively

Skills & Experience Required

•   6+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a related product delivery role

•   Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, MIS, Computer Science, or related field

•   Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks

•   Broad knowledge of financial services concepts with emphasis on client onboarding or CRM systems preferred

•   Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills

•   Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to navigate ambiguity and deliver results

•   Experience with JIRA, Confluence, or similar agile tooling

•   SAFe POPM certification is advantageous
