Associate Director – Agriculture Digital Transformation, Product Sales & Consulting
Position Summary
A senior leadership role responsible for driving revenue growth, strategic client engagement, product commercialization, and digital transformation initiatives within the Agriculture and Agribusiness sector. The role combines sales leadership, consulting, program delivery, and domain expertise to expand client relationships, deliver large-scale transformation programs, and ensure measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities across agri-inputs, crop protection, seeds, fertilizers, food processing, and agri-tech sectors
- Drive revenue through consultative selling, account expansion, and new business acquisition
- Lead RFPs, proposals, negotiations, and deal closures
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs and senior stakeholders
- Achieve assigned revenue, profitability, and growth targets
Product Sales & Commercialization
- Drive adoption and sales of agritech platforms, SaaS solutions, and digital offerings
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with customer needs
- Conduct solution demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concepts
- Own product revenue performance and contribute to overall business profitability
Account Growth & Expansion
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key clients
- Increase wallet share through upselling and cross-selling services and solutions
- Build multi-year transformation roadmaps aligned to client objectives
- Collaborate across service lines to deliver integrated solutions
Digital Transformation Leadership
- Lead transformation initiatives across farmer engagement, channel management, supply chain, and enterprise platforms
- Provide strategic advisory on technology roadmap, implementation, and adoption
- Ensure delivery of measurable business outcomes and value realization
Program Management & Delivery
- Lead large-scale programs ensuring timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery
- Establish governance frameworks covering risk, dependencies, and stakeholder communication
- Drive customer satisfaction and long-term account success
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering innovation and execution excellence
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or related field
- 15+ years of experience in consulting, digital transformation, product sales, or enterprise solutions
- Proven track record in sales, account management, and delivery leadership
- Strong understanding of the agriculture value chain and agribusiness operations
Preferred Experience
- Experience with digital solutions in agriculture and agribusiness sectors
- Expertise in CRM, farmer engagement, and dealer management systems
- Demonstrated success in account growth, stakeholder management, and P&L ownership
- Experience working with leading agri-input, seed, fertilizer, and food processing organizations
