Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented IT Project Manager / PMO to lead and deliver cross-functional technology and functional transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in FMCG, and demonstrated experience in managing complex global programs. This role will be responsible for end-to-end project management, stakeholder alignment, governance, and delivery excellence, aligned with Deloitte’s methodologies and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Program Management
- Strong understanding of project lifecycle (initiation → planning → execution → closure)
- Ability to manage multi-phase, multi-tower transitions
- RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
- Proficiency with PM tools: MS Project, Jira, Asana, Trello, etc.
- Delivering projects on time, within scope, and budget
- Conducting governance reviews (SteerCo, PMO reviews, executive updates)
- Excellent negotiation & influencing skills
- Ability to manage multi-vendor environments
- Budgeting & cost control
Transition and Transformation Management
· Knowledge of change framework
· Managing people impact during transitions
· Stakeholder communication & readiness assessment
· Training planning, process walkthroughs, and adoption measurement
· Awareness of digital transformation trends (automation, cloud, analytics, AI)
· Ability to identify inefficiencies and propose improvements
· Working with solution architects & technical teams
· Understanding of data migration, system rollout, integrations
- Identifying risks early and building mitigation plans
- Understanding compliance standards (ISO, SOC, GDPR, ITIL depending on org)
- Leading multi-disciplinary global teams
- Driving accountability and ownership
- Understanding of contracts, SLAs, SOWs
Required Qualifications:
- 12 years and above -Manager/Senior Manager level.
- Proven experience in at least two of the following:
- Agile/Scrum/SAFe delivery
- Stakeholder and vendor management
- Platform-led projects (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, etc.)
- Domain expertise accounting for 65%+ of overall experience in any of:
- FMCG
- Transition management and Digital Transformation
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage virtual, cross-functional, and geographically distributed teams.
- Experience in managing project budget and resources.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a global delivery model and multicultural environment.
- Familiarity with project tracking tools such as Jira, MS Project, Clarity, or ServiceNow.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or CSM.
- Exposure to PMO functions including governance, budgeting, and reporting.
Education:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Notice Period:
- Candidates with immediate availability or notice period of up to 30 days preferred.
- Maximum acceptable notice: 45 days
