Job Description – Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant

Experience: 4–10 Years

Location: Pan India / Hybrid

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Consultant with 4–10 years of IT experience and strong expertise in Oracle Cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in OIC integrations, Oracle Fusion BI Publisher Reports, PL/SQL development, and Oracle Cloud extensions. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting integrations, reports, and database solutions across Oracle Fusion Cloud applications and external systems.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

  • Design, develop, deploy, and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Build and maintain integrations between Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM) and third-party systems.
  • Develop REST/SOAP web service integrations, file-based integrations, and event-driven integrations.
  • Configure OIC adapters, connections, lookups, schedules, and orchestration flows.
  • Perform integration monitoring, troubleshooting, error handling, and performance optimization.
  • Support migration and deployment activities across environments.

BI Publisher Reporting

  • Develop and customize Oracle Fusion BI Publisher (BIP) Reports.
  • Build Data Models using SQL, HCM Extracts, OTBI, and Fusion Subject Areas.
  • Design reports in multiple formats such as PDF, Excel, RTF, and XML.
  • Create and enhance custom reports for ERP, HCM, and SCM modules.
  • Troubleshoot report performance and optimize queries.

PL/SQL Development

  • Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and views.
  • Write efficient SQL queries and perform database performance tuning.
  • Develop data extraction and transformation logic for integrations and reporting.
  • Support data migration and interface requirements using PL/SQL.


Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with business users, functional consultants, and project teams to understand requirements.
  • Prepare Technical Design Documents (TDD), Unit Test Cases, and Deployment Documents.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to Oracle best practices.
  • Provide production support and resolve defects/issues within SLA timelines.


Required Skills

  • 4–10 years of overall IT experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Strong expertise in:
  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
  • REST and SOAP Web Services
  • XML, XSLT, JSON
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Adapters
  • Oracle Fusion BI Publisher Reports
  • SQL and PL/SQL Development
  • Error handling and monitoring in OIC
  • Experience integrating Oracle Fusion ERP/HCM/SCM with external applications.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion tables, data models, and reporting frameworks.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills.


Preferred Skills

  • Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM, or SCM experience.
  • Experience with:
  • HCM Extracts
  • HDL/FBDI
  • OTBI Analytics
  • Oracle Visual Builder (VBCS)
  • Oracle Process Automation (OPA)
  • Oracle SOA Suite
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
  • Exposure to API Gateway, OAuth, and security frameworks.
  • Oracle Integration Cloud Certification is a plus.


Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
