The SRT Innovation Team focuses on building cutting‑edge analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven solutions that transform how clients manage risk, enable transactions, and make strategic decisions. The team works at the intersection of emerging technology, applied research, and real-world business problems, rapidly prototyping and scaling high-impact solutions.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer who is passionate about innovation and hands-on engineering. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying ML solutions across proof-of-concepts and production systems, while collaborating closely with business, data science, and engineering teams.

This role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys experimenting with new ideas, translating research into production-grade systems, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for real-world SRT use cases including risk analytics, decision automation, and intelligent insights.
• Own end-to-end ML solution development, from data exploration and feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring.
• Build prototypes and Proofs of Concept (PoCs) for innovation initiatives and rapidly scale successful solutions.
• Apply techniques such as supervised, unsupervised learning, NLP/NLU, and emerging AI methods to solve complex business problems.
• Work with cloud platforms to deploy and operationalize ML models using scalable, secure architectures.
• Communicate complex model behavior and outcomes clearly to non-technical and senior stakeholders, simplifying “black-box” concepts into actionable insights.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building strong ML engineering standards within the SRT Innovation team.
• Stay current with latest technology trends, open-source libraries, and research, and actively bring new ideas into the team.
• Contribute to the firm’s innovation brand by presenting at internal forums, client sessions, and external industry events.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Machine Learning and Applied AI (model development, evaluation, deployment).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for ML systems.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
• Experience with modern development stacks and APIs; understanding of version control (Git/GitHub).

• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous innovation environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset and ability to work independently.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in AI, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
