Job Title: Guidewire Automation Test Analyst (GT Framework) 

Level: Analyst 

Role Summary: 

You will be responsible for individually delivering high-quality work products within defined timelines. In this role, you will focus on Guidewire Automation Testing using the GT Framework, ensuring robust test coverage, improved release quality, and optimized testing processes across Guidewire applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support automation initiatives, enhance delivery outcomes, and drive innovation within the testing lifecycle. 

Work You’ll Do: 

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using the Guidewire Testing (GT) Framework. 
• Execute automation suites for Guidewire applications such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter to ensure product quality and stability. 
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios. 
• Identify automation opportunities, improve regression coverage, and contribute to faster release cycles. 
• Proactively identify risks, defects, and issues, and communicate them effectively to team leads. 
• Support continuous integration and continuous testing practices within Agile/DevOps environments. 
• Maintain test artifacts, documentation, and metrics related to automation coverage and defect leakage. 
• Participate in defect triage, root cause analysis, and quality improvement initiatives. 
• Contribute to process improvements, accelerators, and innovative testing solutions. 
• Stay current with Guidewire platform updates, cloud releases, and automation best practices. 
• Lead knowledge-sharing sessions on testing processes, tools, and emerging technology trends. 
• Demonstrate ownership of deliverables and actively support team-building and compliance activities. 

Qualifications 

Must Have Skills / Project Experience / Certifications: 

• 2–4 years of overall IT experience with 2+ years in Guidewire Automation Testing using the GT Framework. 
• Hands-on experience automating test cases for Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter / BillingCenter / ClaimCenter). 
• Strong understanding of Guidewire integration and configuration concepts. 
• Experience with GOSU, Web Services, XML, and Guidewire data models. 
• Exposure to platform upgrades and validation through automated testing. 
• Ability to design automation frameworks/components and enhance existing scripts. 
• Experience in test estimation, planning, and execution. 
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines. 
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. 
• Flexibility to adapt to varied business domains and apply technical testing solutions. 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools. 
• Certification: Guidewire Specialist / ACE / Cloud certifications preferred. 

Good to Have Skills / Project Experience / Certifications: 

• Experience with CodeNarc or similar static code analysis tools. 
• Exposure to latest Guidewire Cloud versions and cloud-based testing strategies. 
• Knowledge of Java/J2EE with Guidewire experience. 
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM). 
• Understanding of performance or API testing is an added advantage. 

Education: 

• BE / B.Tech / M.C.A / M.Sc (Computer Science) or equivalent degree from an accredited university.
