Key Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 support and troubleshooting for Azure infrastructure issues, including Windows and Linux VM support.
• Offer on-call support for escalated client issues during US business hours.
• Develop expertise across infrastructure, containers, and networking domains to enhance client support.
• Build proficiency with relevant cloud and automation tooling.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a knowledge base and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to strengthen client support.
• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and technical teams.
• Escalate issues that require additional attention to engagement management.
• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on process improvement, optimization, and transformation.
• Implement leading practice workflows, address quality deficits, and drive operational outcomes.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.

Technical Skills & Experience

• At least 6 years of relevant professional experience in Kubernetes, with strong conceptual knowledge of implementing development projects on cloud platforms using AKS.
• Extensive experience designing, implementing, and delivering infrastructure on container platforms such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker Swarm.
• Experience with enterprise cloud solutions, including Platform-as-a-Service (OpenShift by Red Hat), containers, Kubernetes, cloud management (CloudForms), and IT automation (Ansible by Red Hat).
• Experience with Red Hat Quay, Terraform, and Vault configuration.
• Ability to assess and communicate the impacts of different architectures and designs to stakeholders, managing technical requirements and solutions.
• Experience setting up landing zones on Azure cloud.
• Experience working with Red Hat Technologies from Operators Hub.
• Experience with AKS OpenShift infrastructure design, deployment, and operational support.
• Proficiency with automation tools for cloud deployments, such as Helm Charts, Tekton, Terraform, or Ansible.
• Experience with automated deployment of applications into AKS.
• Experience managing automation playbooks and documentation related to AKS.
• Knowledge of pod autoscaling designs/strategies and CI/CD pipelines for enterprise-grade application build and deployment automation.
• Experience efficiently managing image streams and build artifacts.
