Job Summary

You are a strategy practitioner, not a coordinator. You bring consulting rigor to how we run IT strategy. You apply best practices from leading technology organizations, challenge how things are done today, and build repeatable frameworks that elevate the function. You think, structure, and deliver, not just track and report.


Your work profile:

1.     Transformation Support

a.     Drive transformation program tracking with a focus on outcomes, not just milestones

b.    Develop current-state assessments that surface real gaps, not just document what exists

c.     Synthesize inputs from multiple workstreams into coherent narratives for leadership

d.    Identify risks and dependencies proactively before they become escalations

e.    Build and maintain transformation playbooks based on industry best practices

2.     Operating Model

a.     Support operating model evolution as strategy shifts

b.    Maintain living operating model documentation that reflects how we actually work, not just how we planned to work

c.     Benchmark operating model elements against industry standards and peer organizations

d.    Create operating model playbooks that can be reused as we scale or restructure

3.     Executive Reporting & Deck Support

a.     Build executive materials that tell a story, not just present data

b.    Structure complex information into clear, decision-ready formats

c.     Prepare draft decks for steering committees, leadership updates, and board materials

d.    Anticipate questions leadership will ask and build supporting content

e.    Maintain a library of best-in-class templates based on leading consulting and tech company standards

4.     Intake & Portfolio Support

a.     Run the intake process with a value-lens: prioritize based on strategic alignment, not just who asks loudest

b.    Prepare intake governance materials that frame trade-offs clearly for decision-makers

c.     Maintain portfolio views that show capacity, investment mix, and strategic coverage

d.    Document intake decisions with rationale so we build institutional memory

e.    Continuously improve intake processes based on what works and what doesn't


Key skills required: 

You Bring:

a.     3-5 years in strategy consulting or corporate strategy (Deloitte, Accenture, KPMG, EY, or similar firms)

b.    Experience working on technology strategy, IT operating model, or digital transformation engagements

c.     Exposure to automotive, manufacturing, or similarly complex industries preferred

d.    Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills with an eye for structured thinking and visual storytelling

e.    Understanding of how IT functions operate: governance, demand management, portfolio planning, vendor management

f.      AI-first mindset. You use AI tools daily and constantly look for ways to apply them to your work

g.     Clear communication. You structure problems, not just describe them

h.    MBA or equivalent experience preferred
