Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ITOM Developer to support infrastructure visibility, operational resilience, and data governance across our global enterprise environment. This role will be responsible for configuring Discovery, integrating observability tools, improving CMDB data quality, and supporting automation initiatives that enable proactive IT operations. This position plays a critical role in reducing configuration data inconsistencies and strengthening the foundation for future platform expansion.

Your work profile:

ITOM Discovery & Service Mapping

• Configure and optimize ServiceNow Discovery across on-prem and cloud environments
• Manage MID Servers and ensure reliable data collection
• Define CI classification, identification, and reconciliation rules
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to improve Discovery coverage

ITOM Integrations & Observability

• Integrate monitoring and observability tools with ServiceNow
• Configure event ingestion and normalization
• Develop alert correlation rules
• Improve signal-to-noise ratio in incident creation
• Support proactive incident management initiatives

CMDB Governance & Data Quality

• Maintain CMDB integrity and accuracy
• Improve CI relationships and dependency mapping
• Partner with governance teams to establish data quality standards
• Support audits and compliance reporting
• Identify and resolve duplicate CI issues

Automation & Continuous Improvement

• Develop automated workflows for remediation
• Support change impact analysis
• Improve operational reporting and dashboards
• Participate in platform upgrades and enhancements

Key skills required: 

Required Qualifications

• 7-9 years of ServiceNow development experience
• Hands-on expertise with:
• ITOM Discovery
• Event Management
• CMDB administration
• IntegrationHub
• Strong knowledge of Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE)
• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations
• Strong JavaScript and scripting skills
• Understanding of ITIL processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or multi-site enterprises
• Exposure to operational technology (OT) environments
• ServiceNow certifications:
• CSA
• CIS-Discovery
• CIS-ITOM
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure monitoring
• Knowledge of Service Mapping
