ROLE 

Level: Lead Senior Associate 


We are seeking an experienced Insbridge Developer to join our team and lead the development, configuration, enhancement, and support of Insbridge-based insurance rating solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Insbridge, deep understanding of insurance rating and policy administration processes, and the ability to work closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient solutions. 


 


The work you will do includes: 


  • Design, develop, configure, and support Insbridge rating solutions for insurance products 
  • Work extensively with RateManager designer/authoring tools for rating rule configuration and product setup 
  • Configure company-specific rates, business rules, calculations, and premium quoting logic 
  • Develop and maintain Soft Rater packages and deploy them across multiple rating environments 
  • Support integration and consumption of Rating Engine APIs and external services 
  • Create and maintain Insbridge organizational structures, products, and business lines for new insurance programs 
  • Analyze and implement changes related to ISO filings and regulatory updates 
  • Collaborate with business analysts, underwriting teams, and architects to translate business requirements into technical solutions 
  • Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, estimation, and solution planning activities 
  • Perform unit testing, defect resolution, troubleshooting, and production support 
  • Support cloud-based implementations, migration initiatives, and performance optimization activities 
  • Maintain technical documentation, deployment artifacts, and development standards 
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing and capability-building initiatives within the team 
  • Proactively identify risks, issues, and opportunities for process improvements and automation 

 


QUALIFICATIONS 


Skills / Project Experience 


Must Have: 


  • 6 – 9 years of hands-on experience in Insbridge development and configuration 
  • Strong expertise in Insbridge RateManager and rating engine implementations 
  • Experience configuring rating rules, product models, premium calculations, and quoting workflows 
  • Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance processes including underwriting, policy administration, claims, and billing 
  • Experience implementing complex, scalable, and high-volume insurance products 
  • Experience creating and deploying Soft Rater packages across environments 
  • Experience working with Rating APIs, integrations, XML, and web services 
  • Strong understanding of ISO filings and insurance regulatory change implementations 
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions 
  • Experience in estimation, technical design, and development lifecycle activities 
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support experience 
  • Experience working with databases, SQL queries, and data validation 
  • Experience working on cloud-based applications and distributed environments 
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies 
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills 
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools 

 


Good to Have: 


  • Experience with Duck Creek, Guidewire, or other insurance platform integrations 
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management 
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of rating engines 
  • Knowledge of Java, scripting, or automation frameworks 
  • Insurance domain certifications or technical certifications related to Insbridge 
  • Experience mentoring or leading small development teams 

 


Education 


Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university – B.E./B.Tech/MCA or degree in Computer Science or related field 


 


Prior Experience 


6 – 9 years of relevant experience working in Insbridge Development and Insurance Rating implementations
