Senior Frontend Developer (React, TypeScript, Node.js)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and Node.js to build high‑quality, scalable, and user‑centric web applications. In this role, you will contribute to architectural decisions, collaborate cross‑functionally, and deliver intuitive, performant user experiences that move Lucid’s product ecosystem forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance complex frontend features using React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks. L4
  • Contribute to architecting maintainable and scalable frontend systems that align with product and platform goals. L5
  • Build high‑quality, reusable UI components and patterns that drive consistency and improve developer velocity. L6
  • Work closely with Product, Design, and Backend Engineering to deliver seamless and customer‑focused experiences. L7
  • Uphold best practices around accessibility, responsiveness, performance, testing, and security. L8
  • Leverage modern CSS frameworks such as Tailwind CSS or Material UI to build pixel‑perfect interfaces. L9
  • Participate in code reviews, pairing sessions, and team collaboration to improve engineering quality. L10
  • Support system‑wide architecture discussions, including SSR, micro‑frontends, and build tooling improvements. L11
  • Ensure clean integration between frontend applications and Node.js/backend APIs, with efficient data flows. L12
  • Evaluate new tools and frameworks that enhance developer productivity and product quality. L13

Required Qualifications

  • 7–8 years of professional experience building modern web applications (adjusted from 10+).
  • Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), and component‑based architectures. L17
  • Experience with Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, and full‑stack integration workflows. L18
  • Solid understanding of modern frontend tooling (Webpack/Vite, Babel, linting, testing frameworks, build pipelines). L19
  • Knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility standards, and secure coding practices. L20
  • Demonstrated ability to own features end‑to‑end, work independently, and collaborate effectively within fast‑paced environments. (Adjusted from leadership‑focused line ⟶) L21

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS preferred). L24
