Job Title: SAP Extended ECM for SuccessFactors Consultant (7–9 Years)

Job Summary

Looking for an experienced Extended ECM (xECM) for SuccessFactors Consultant to design, implement, and support OpenText Extended ECM integrations with SAP SuccessFactors. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in content management, HR document lifecycle management, and enterprise integration between OpenText xECM and SAP HCM/SuccessFactors modules.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement OpenText Extended ECM for SAP SuccessFactors solutions, including document generation, storage, retrieval, and archiving of employee records.

• Configure integration between SAP SuccessFactors (EC, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals) and OpenText xECM/Content Server.

• Develop and maintain workspace templates, business object types, classifications, and RM (Records Management) classifications within xECM.

• Manage employee file structures, personnel file management, and digital document workflows (e.g., contracts, offer letters, performance appraisals).

• Configure and maintain metadata mapping, taxonomy, and folder structures aligned with HR business processes.

• Work with SAP Fiori/UI5 integration and SuccessFactors APIs (OData, SFAPI) for seamless document exchange.

• Collaborate with HR, IT, and functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Perform system configuration, customization, testing (unit, integration, UAT), and deployment activities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to document management, workflows, and integration points.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy, retention policies, and audit requirements (GDPR, SOX, etc.).

• Prepare technical documentation, configuration guides, and user manuals.

• Provide production support, incident resolution, and enhancements post go-live.

• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to solution architecture discussions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7–9 years of overall IT experience, with at least 3–4 years of hands-on experience in OpenText Extended ECM (xECM) for SAP SuccessFactors.

• Strong understanding of SAP SuccessFactors modules (Employee Central, Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, etc.).

• Experience in OpenText Content Server administration and configuration.

• Hands-on experience with Business Workspace configuration, RM classifications, and workspace templates.

• Knowledge of integration frameworks — SFAPI, OData services, SAP PI/PO, or CPI (Cloud Platform Integration).

• Familiarity with document generation tools (e.g., OpenText Output Management, Adobe LiveCycle, or similar).

• Understanding of records management, retention schedules, and compliance requirements.

• Experience working with XML, XSLT, and metadata mapping for document classification.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving integration and configuration issues.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum project delivery methodologies.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
