India GCC Site Leader 

The India GCC Site Leader is responsible for the overall leadership, strategic direction, and operational excellence of the Global Capability Center in India. This individual will drive the center’s growth, ensure alignment with global business objectives, foster a high-performance culture, and serve as the primary liaison between the India GCC and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership and vision for the India GCC, ensuring alignment with the parent organization’s objectives and values.
  • Oversee daily operations, including delivery, quality, compliance, and financial performance.
  • Build and nurture relationships with global and regional business leaders, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration.
  • Develop and execute talent strategies for recruitment, retention, and professional development of the GCC workforce.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, corporate standards, and risk management protocols.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and high employee engagement.
  • Represent the GCC in external forums, industry events, and with local authorities as needed.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in technology, process, and governance.
  • Manage budgets, resource allocation, and performance metrics to achieve business goals.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field (required).
  • Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) from a reputed institution (preferred).
  • Skills & Experience Requirements
  • 9 to 10 years of progressive experience in IT/ITES, shared services, or global delivery center environments, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing large, cross-functional teams and complex operations.
  • Strong understanding of GCC operating models, transformation, and scaling strategies.
  • Experience in stakeholder management across global geographies.
  • Deep knowledge of compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks relevant to India.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change, innovation, and digital transformation.
  • Experience in talent management, including hiring, retention, and leadership development.
  • Financial acumen and experience managing large budgets and P&L responsibility.
  • Ability to foster a diverse, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.
