ServiceNow SPM Lead


We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) Lead with at least 8 years of hands‑on experience in implementing, configuring, and optimizing ServiceNow SPM modules. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise across Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Resource Management, and Now Assist for SPM, with a strong ability to translate business needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation and enhancement of ServiceNow SPM capabilities, including Demand, Project, Portfolio, Agile, Resource, and Financial Planning modules.
  • Configure and optimize SPM workflows to support business processes for intake, prioritization, planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Implement and leverage Now Assist for SPM to drive AI-powered recommendations, automation, and productivity improvements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define user stories, and create functional and technical specifications.
  • Design dashboards, reports, and performance analytics for portfolio insights and executive visibility.
  • Ensure alignment of SPM configurations with organizational governance, standards, and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.
  • Support integration of SPM with other ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITBM, CSM, HRSD) and external systems.
  • Conduct system testing, UAT support, production deployment, and post-deployment stabilization.
  • Maintain documentation, solution architecture, and operational support materials.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience working with ServiceNow SPM / ITBM modules.

  • Financial Planning
  • Agile & SAFe frameworks (preferred)
  • Practical experience configuring and deploying Now Assist for SPM or similar AI capabilities within ServiceNow.
  • Deep understanding of SPM data structures, workflows, and automation.
  • Ability to design complex SPM solutions, including integrations and customizations.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow reporting, dashboards, and PA (Performance Analytics).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
