Job Description – SAP MM Junior Analyst

Role Summary

We are seeking an SAP MM Junior Analyst to support ongoing procurement and supply chain operations within our S/4HANA landscape. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of hands-on SAP MM experience, can support change requests and enhancements, and can work collaboratively with onsite senior analysts. This role will participate in testing cycles, engage with developers, ensure accurate functional clarifications, and support workflow-related requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day support for SAP MM processes across procurement, purchasing, inventory management, and supplier interactions.

- Analyze, document, and support change requests, enhancements, and configuration updates under the guidance of senior onsite MM resources.

- Work closely with ABAP developers to clarify functionality, support design discussions, and validate the technical output.

- Participate in SIT/UAT testing, prepare test scripts, execute test cases, and support defect resolution.

- Understand and support SAP workflows, including approval workflows for procurement documents; assist in building new workflow scenarios as required.

- Troubleshoot SAP MM issues and collaborate with senior MM analysts, cross-functional IT teams, and business stakeholders.

- Provide support for Fiori applications related to procurement and purchasing, ensuring adoption of standard SAP capabilities.

- Document functional requirements, configuration details, test results, and end-user guides.

- Maintain understanding of integration points with SAP modules such as FI, QM, and EWM.

Required Qualifications

- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in SAP MM in ECC or S/4HANA environments.

- Basic to intermediate understanding of MM processes: PR/PO, goods receipts, service entry sheets, invoice support, and material master fundamentals.

- Experience preparing Functional Specifications, working with developers, and supporting WRICEF objects.

- Understanding of SAP procurement workflows and ability to support new workflow requirements.

- Exposure to SIT/UAT testing, issue tracking, and release processes.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively and follow guidance from senior resources.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in automotive or manufacturing industries.

- Familiarity with Fiori procurement apps and end-user support.

- Basic integration knowledge with FI, QM, and EWM.

- Understanding of procurement KPIs, reporting, and dashboards.
