About the job 

Developer who has good experience in designing, developing, and maintaining various business applications leveraging Guidewire Jutro framework, having good knowledge in EnterpriseEngage apps. Well versed with Jutro design system (JDS), Jutro design platform (JDP), Jutro web apps (JWA).   

Responsibilities 

Following are the day-to-day work activities: 

• Serve as developer contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams, including internal and external team members 
• Develop and maintain web applications and micro frontends using Guidewire Jutro platform particularly for the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance industry. 
• Leveraging the Jutro design system, which integrates with tools like Figma, to create consistent and branded user interfaces. 
• Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions 
• Implementing built-in deployment tools, integrations, and workflows to streamline the development process. 
• Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling 
• Mentor Software Engineers and help them enhance they’re for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities 
• Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management 
• Write, modify, and debug software for client applications 
• Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes 
• Stay on the leading edge of development practices 

The must have requirements are: 

• XX years’ experience in web applications and micro frontends using Guidewire Jutro platform 
• Proficient in Web Technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/ES6, TypeScript, and JSON. 
• Experience with ReactJS using React hooks and NodeJS. 
• Familiar with Jutro SDK and Cloud APIs to build & maintain digital experiences 
• Experience to work with server-side technologies like JSON/RPC, REST etc. 
• Experience in Insurance domain with respect to commercial and personal line of business 
• Good conceptual, analytical, mathematical skills 
• Have a deep insight into the SDLC and strong understanding of Agile methodologies 
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills 

 Good To Have 

• Strong understanding of Jutro design platform (JDP) 
• Guidewire Certification preferred (Jutro certified Associate etc) 
• Awareness on Cloud Implementation is beneficial
