Skills
- Backend Java + Spring Boot: build REST services, implement business logic, validation, error handling, and integration with downstream systems.
- SQL: write complex queries, optimize performance (indexes, joins, execution plans), and support data validation/troubleshooting in lower environments.
- Frontend (React/Angular): build responsive UI components, manage state, consume APIs, and implement role-based UX patterns with HTML/CSS.
- REST APIs & microservices: design/consume APIs, follow contract-first practices, and support service-to-service communication patterns.
- Git + CI/CD: branching/PR workflows, automated builds, unit tests, and deployments using common CI/CD tools and pipelines.
- AWS exposure: deploy and troubleshoot cloud-hosted apps; basic understanding of IAM, networking, monitoring, and managed services.
- Testing practices: write unit/integration tests; support testability through clean design, mocking, and contract testing where applicable.
- Secure coding: input validation, authentication/authorization basics, and awareness of OWASP top risks.
- Performance & troubleshooting: profiling, log analysis, and debugging across UI, APIs, and database layers.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience building scalable, maintainable applications (modular design, reusable components, and clean API boundaries).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to debug complex issues, communicate root cause, and deliver pragmatic fixes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams with clear delivery commitments (sprint planning, estimation, demos, and retrospectives).
- Collaborative mindset: partner effectively with QA, product, and operations to deliver features end-to-end.
- Ability to produce clear technical documentation (API notes, runbooks, and support handoffs).
