Roles & Responsibilities

Build and maintain API & service automation frameworks (REST/gRPC).
Test microservices, device services, and telemetry/data pipelines.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Drive RCA, defect triage, and continuously improve quality metrics.
Work with backend, cloud, and IoT engineering teams for high‑quality releases.

🔹 Must‑Have Skills

7+ years SDET/QA Automation experience with strong Java/Python programming skills.
Hands‑on API automation using REST Assured / pytest‑requests / Postman/Newman.
Experience testing microservices and Java-based APIs.
Strong knowledge of API testing, service contracts, integration flows, and mocks/stubs.
CI/CD experience (Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle), Linux proficiency.

🔹 Good to Have

IoT domain experience (MQTT, device connectivity, telemetry pipelines).
Docker/Kubernetes basics, AWS/Azure/GCP exposure.
BDD (Cucumber/Behave), Allure/Extent reporting.
Performance testing (JMeter/k6) and basic API security testing.
