Your work profile

This role is a data architecture + execution role, responsible for:

• Designing scalable data solutions and architectures, data exchanges and platforms
• Supporting implementation teams in delivering data platform capabilities
• Defining data models, integration patterns, and governance standards
• Collaborating with business, technology, and vendor teams to ensure successful execution

You will act as a key contributor to data strategy, architecture, and implementation, ensuring that data solutions align with business goals, enterprise standards, and future scalability requirements.

What You Will Do

1. Design Data Architecture & Solution Frameworks

• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions
• Design and document of end-to-data architecture for analytics, reporting, and operational use cases
• Define data flows, integration patterns, and information architecture standards across enterprise.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security, and governance standards

2. Drive Data Modelling & Integration Design

• Design and maintain enterprise data models and subject area models
• Define data integration approaches across internal and external systems
• Support ingestion frameworks for batch and near real-time data processing
• Establish standards and contribute for:
• Data modelling
• Data transformations
• Metadata management
• Data quality controls
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of architecture designs

3. Support Data Platform Delivery

• Collaborate with data engineering teams and vendors during implementation
• Prepare technical designs, architecture documents, and data pipeline specifications
• Provide architectural guidance during development and testing phases
• Assist in resolving solution design challenges and integration issues
• Validate deliverables against architecture standards and business requirements

4. Support Analytics & Business Intelligence Initiatives

• Collaborate with analytics teams to design analytics-ready data structures
• Define data marts and curated datasets for reporting and self-service analytics
• Optimize data structures for performance, usability, and scalability
• Support reporting, dashboarding, and advanced analytics requirements

5. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Stakeholders

• Work with business teams to understand data requirements and business processes
• Coordinate with application teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors
• Facilitate architecture discussions, solution reviews, and design workshops
• Communicate architectural decisions and recommendations to stakeholders

6. Contribute to Architecture Best Practices

• Support development of enterprise data architecture standards and frameworks
• Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and data platform capabilities
• Contribute to architecture governance processes and design reviews
• Drive continuous improvement in architecture methodologies and delivery practices

Key skills required

Core Technical Expertise

• Strong experience in data architecture, data modelling, and data integration
• Hands-on:
• Architecting, and implementing Data Exchange platforms
• Strong Experience across the data lifecycle including data governance, data quality, Metadata Management, Master Data Management, schema management/ versioning etc.
• Strong Data Modelling including Dimensional Data Modelling etc.
• Data warehousing concepts
• Strong Experience in streaming and Realtime data platforms
• ETL/ELT frameworks
• SQL and relational databases
• Cloud or on-premises data platforms
• Experience with modern data technologies such as:
• Realtime streaming platforms like kafka, Spark and distributed data processing frameworks
• Data lake and warehouse architectures, Realtime data exchange platforms
• Understanding of:
• Data governance
• Data quality management
• Metadata and lineage concepts
• API-based integrations

Architecture & Delivery Skills

• Ability to convert business requirements into scalable data architecture solutions
• Experience in creating data models, architecture diagrams, and solution documentation
• Familiarity with architecture review and governance processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams and implementation partners
• Strong Documentation skills including diagramming, presentation, preparation of concept notes, project documentation etc.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or related field

• 6 to 8 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, analytics engineering, or related roles
• Experience working in enterprise-scale data and analytics programs
• Exposure to cross-functional and multi-stakeholder environments
• Consulting or client-facing experience preferred

• Base location: Hyderabad
