Your Work Profile:

1. Cost Optimization & Operational Efficiency

  • Identify and deliver cost reduction opportunities across procurement, manufacturing, and logistics
  • Conduct cost diagnostics (should-costing, benchmarking, spend analysis)
  • Drive margin improvement initiatives through productivity and waste reduction

2. Supply Chain Transformation

  • Analyze and optimize end-to-end supply chain networks
  • Improve planning, forecasting, and inventory management
  • Enhance logistics efficiency and distribution strategies
  • Support implementation of digital supply chain solutions

3. Production & Plant Excellence

  • Drive plant productivity improvement programs (OEE, throughput, yield)
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process optimization initiatives
  • Apply Lean / Six Sigma methodologies for continuous improvement
  • Improve capacity utilization and shop-floor performance

4. Data & Analytics

  • Perform data-driven diagnostics using Excel, BI tools, or analytics platforms
  • Build dashboards and insights for decision support
  • Translate data into actionable business recommendations

5. Client Engagement & Delivery

  • Work closely with client stakeholders (Plant Heads, SCM Heads, CXOs)
  • Support workshops, stakeholder discussions, and solution design
  • Contribute to proposal development and business development initiatives

 

Preferred Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of:
    • Supply Chain Planning & Logistics
    • Manufacturing processes & plant operations
    • Cost structures and operational KPIs
  • Experience in:
    • Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence frameworks
    • ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
    • Digital / Industry 4.0 initiatives (good to have)
  • Core consulting skills:
    • Structured problem solving
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
    • Excellent communication & stakeholder management
    • Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

 

 

Experience:

 

2–6 years of relevant experience in:

    • Operations / Supply Chain / Manufacturing roles OR
    • Consulting experience in operations transformation

  • MBA (preferred) from a reputed institute
  • B.Tech / Engineering degree (mandatory)
