Senior Oracle OAS Developer / Oracle Analytics Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle OAS Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise‑grade analytics and reporting solutions using Oracle Analytics Server (OAS). The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performance BI solutions that support decision‑making across the organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and enhance Oracle OAS dashboards, reports, and data visualizations aligned with business requirements
  • Develop and maintain Oracle BI semantic models (RPD) including subject areas, logical fact/dimension modeling, aggregates, and hierarchies
  • Perform data modeling, performance tuning, and optimization for complex analytical queries
  • Integrate OAS with multiple data sources such as Oracle Database, ADW, Exadata, ERP (Fusion/EBS), and third‑party sources
  • Implement security, role‑based access control, and data-level security within OAS
  • Support migration projects (e.g., OBIEE to OAS) including validation and reconciliation
  • Collaborate with business users to translate functional requirements into technical BI solutions
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide performance and stability improvements
  • Adhere to BI best practices, standards, and governance guidelines
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in design and code reviews



Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong hands‑on experience with Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)
  • Expert knowledge of OBIEE/OAS RPD development and administration
  • Advanced SQL and strong understanding of data warehousing concepts
  • Experience with Oracle Database, PL/SQL, and analytical functions
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and dashboard usability
  • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and reporting data pipelines
  • Exposure to ADW, BICC, or ODI
  • Knowledge of OBIEE to OAS migration tools and methodologies
  • Experience in performance tuning and query optimization
