Your work profile

 

As a Consultant/Senior Consultant in our Oracle Team you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention to exceed client expectations: -

 

 

Responsibilities

 

·        Design and develop database schema, tables, and relationships.

  • Designs, develops, implements, and maintains custom oracle applications written in PL/SQL and supports back-end data processing in PL/SQL
  • Good Experience in SQL Analytical Query, Performance Tunning concepts.
  • Knowledge about oracle architecture 9i and 18c different and ETL Process
  • Design and Develop database objects like Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Triggers.
  • Develop database for Ref Cursor, Collections, Dynamic SQL and Exception handling
  • Able to work on Collections like PL/SQL Records, PL/SQL Tables, and Nested Tables in PL/SQL blocks and Bulk Collection.
  • Good Experience Oracle Partitioning is a key feature
  • Must have experience in creating scheduler jobs, Views, Materialized Views.
  • Should have good understanding in Indexing.
  • SQL Query tuning using different tools. Clear understanding of query plan.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure code quality, standards compliance, and best practices.
  • Debug and troubleshoot PL/SQL code to identify and resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Create and optimize SQL queries and PL/SQL code for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, and performance in database operation. Collaborate with application developers to design and implement database structures that meet application requirements.
  • Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other tuning techniques.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures, such as roles, privileges, and access controls.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database issues.
  • Excellent problem solving, issue identification, analytical and technical documentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Understand SDLC process and tools, agile program management concepts and version control.

 

Qualifications:

 

·        Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • 5 to 8 years of proven experience in Database Development.
  • Strong proficiency in ORACLE SQL, PL/SQL.
  • Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer in a senior or lead role.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

·        Exposure to cloud hosting and IT domains such as CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

 

Desired qualifications

Experience: 3 to 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or technical role.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.

Location and way of working

  • Base location: Hyd/ Bengaluru
  • This profile involves occasional travelling to client locations OR this profile does not involve extensive travel for work.
