Your work profile
- Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO solutions.
- Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules based on business needs.
- Participate in end-to-end SAP implementation, rollout, migration, and support projects.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and work closely with technical teams.
- Support SIT, UAT, cutover, hypercare, and post-go-live activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production support issues within SLA timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, PP, PS, and Basis.
- Prepare functional documentation, test scripts, and user training materials.
- Provide knowledge transfer and mentor junior consultants where required. Strong hands-on experience in:
- General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Bank Accounting, Electronic Bank Statements (EBS), Automatic Payment Program (APP), Tax Configuration, Financial Closing, Intercompany Accounting, Document Splitting, Parallel Ledgers, Financial Reporting
Key skills required
- 7–10 years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
- Minimum 2 full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation, migration, or rollout projects.
- Hands-on configuration experience in both FI and CO.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and coordinating with ABAP developers.
- Experience in production support and incident resolution.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification.
- Experience with SAP Activate methodology.
- Knowledge of Central Finance (CFIN).
- Exposure to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for Finance reporting.
- Experience in Manufacturing, FMCG, Consumer Products, or Life Sciences industries
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline.
- SAP FICO or SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification is preferred.
