Your work profile

·       Lead design, development, and configuration of ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) solutions, including Demand, Project, Portfolio, Resource, Financial Planning, Time card, Agile Development modules.

·       Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into scalable ServiceNow SPM technical solutions.

·       Develop and customize workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, Flow Designer automations, and Script Includes to support portfolio and project management processes.

·       Implement end‑to‑end demand intake, approval, and project lifecycle workflows

·       Configure project templates, task structures, schedules, and milestones

·       Design and maintain portfolio structures, roadmaps, and investment plans

·       Configure financial plans, cost tracking, budgets, and benefits

·       Enable prioritization and scoring models aligned with business strategy

·       Build dashboards, reports, and scorecards for portfolio health, capacity, and financials

·       Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements and define technical design impacts and dependencies.

·       Build and support integrations between ServiceNow SPM and enterprise applications such as ITSM, CMDB, ERP, HR systems, and third-party tools using REST/SOAP APIs and IntegrationHub.

·       Support UAT planning, defect triage, issue resolution, and production deployment activities, ensuring smooth end-to-end delivery.

Key skills required

·       5-6 years of strong experience in ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) including Demand Management, Project Management, Portfolio Management, Resource Management, and Financial Planning modules.

·       Hands-on expertise in Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, and Service Portal / Workspace customizations.

·       Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, GlideRecord, Scripted REST APIs, and IntegrationHub.

·       Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise applications and external systems.

·       Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and project lifecycle management processes.

·       Experience supporting testing lifecycle, SIT, UAT, defect fixing, and release management.

·       Good understanding of platform governance, security, upgrade-safe development, and best practices.

·       Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills across technical and business teams.

·       Preferred certifications:

o  CSA (Certified System Administrator)

o  CAD (Certified Application Developer)

o  CIS – Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
