Summary:
Deloitte is actively hiring for Project Management Specialists (PMO) experienced in the Banking / Financials Services Industry. Candidates will need to have the requisite years of PMO experience to be eligible for the role as mentioned above.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborating with various department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects.
· Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables aligned to their respective project roles and skillsets.
· Analyzing financial data, including project budgets, risks, and resource allocation.
· Providing financial reports and budget outlines to Decision makers.
· Drafting new and improving existing project management office policies and processes.
· Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines.
· Accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification.
· Demonstrating an excellent understanding of the project lifecycle.
Transformation and Framework:
· Possessing an excellent understanding of Global Change Delivery Business Transformation Frameworks and best practice techniques.
· Having a thorough understanding of the purpose, value, culture, and fundamentals of Global Change Delivery.
· Demonstrating a strong understanding of banking and an understanding of how change drives benefits for business, its customers, and other stakeholders.
Project Management Expertise:
· Understanding Project Management principles and methodologies, Agile framework and deliverables.
· Having exposure to PMO Services and understanding of PMO Function.
· Knowledge of working on PM tools like Clarity or MS Project.
Team and Leadership Skills:
· Being a strong people manager and having broad experience in managing large teams of different work streams/geographies.
· Possessing in-depth experience of working in a banking / financial services environment and change projects.
· Demonstrating good stakeholder management experience, especially impactful communication, influencing, and running project governance, implementation, change management, and benefits realization.
· Understanding the PMO activities and its governance role. Hands-on experience as a PMO is desirable.
· Having proven experience of setting up Project Management Processes and implementing Best Practices.
· Experience working with multiple delivery and business partner teams.
Client-Facing Skills:
· Experience in Client Facing roles.
